Environment at the core

Sentia's environmental strategy is centered around the target of becoming carbon neutral by 2045, with a 50 percent reduction in emissions by 2028. This includes emissions from Scope 1 and 2, as well as selected categories within Scope 3. In our commitment to achieving these targets, Sentia has identified environmental priorities which include reducing greenhouse gas emissions, promoting resource efficiency and circularity, protecting biodiversity, and adhering to high sustainability standards.

Environmental responsibility in practice
From low-emission materials to fossil-free sites. Sentia drives real environmental impact through smart design, innovation, and strong partnerships.

Within Sentia’s line of business, building materials and external services are critical drivers of greenhouse gas emissions. More specifically, a majority part of emission are derived from production and our supply chain. Therefore, Sentia promotes circular economy practices through material reuse, and refurbishment. Sentia's ambition is to ensure sustainable projects, with focus on energy-efficient designs through advanced control systems and sustainable material selection, alongside the reuse of durable materials and managing emissions over the building's lifecycle. Another key aspect is ongoing collaboration with customers and suppliers, driving positive environmental impact across projects.

Sentia strives to achive fossil-free construction sites and works towards reducing emissions from travel activities, optimising premises operations, and improving transportation efficiency. These targets are central to Sentia’s strategy for achieving net-zero and environmental sustainability.
