SSEA to Build a new and modern Ice Arena at Sätra sports field in Stockholm, Sweden.
SSEA, a subsidiary of Sentia, has today signed an agreement to construct a new, and modern ice arena at Sätra sports field in Stockholm, Sweden.
The facility will be developed in close collaboration with Hemsö.
Covering approximately 12,000 sqm (GFA), the project will include two ice rinks: a training rink and a federation-standard rink with a spectator capacity of up to 1,200. In addition to the ice rinks, the complex will feature a restaurant, fitness facilities, office space for operations, changing rooms, and technical areas-creating a versatile and attractive venue for both athletes and the community.
-We are proud to contribute to the development of a facility that will strengthen both sports and the community at large. With our experience and expertise, we will ensure the arena becomes a modern meeting place for both elite and grassroots sports, says Christian Wierland, Deputy CEO and EVP Sentia Sweden.
The contract includes both design and construction phase. The final contract sum will be determined between the parties after the completion of the design phase.
Timeline: Construction is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, with completion expected in the second quarter of 2027.
